Christian Higher Education Canada (CHEC) is a non-profit association of 34 Christian post-secondary educational institutions. Associated with the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC), CHEC’s mission is “to advance Christian higher education, foster institutional cooperation, and raise public awareness of the value of Christian higher education in Canada.” One way of doing this is through the Christian College and University Fairs (CCUFairs). Hosted at high schools and churches in cities across the country every fall, CCUFairs is Canada's largest and most comprehensive Christian higher education event. From big-city arts and science degree-granting universities and university colleges, Bible colleges, seminaries, and graduate schools to smaller, rural ministry-focused degree-granting institutions, CHEC represents a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate Christian higher education options.
